Abhishek Sharma hit seven fours and as many as 13 sixes as he smashed his way to 135 in just 54 balls. He broke the record for the highest score by an Indian in a T20I and his innings powered India to a score of 247/9 in 20 overs. He then took two wickets as England crumbled to a score of 97 all-out and India won by a whopping 150 runs with nearly 10 overs to spare. (AP)

Abhishek nearly played through the entire innings but his epic knock finally came to an end in the 18th over. Almost all England players shook his hands and he received a deafening ovation from the Wankhede Stadium as he walked off for a score of 135 in 54 balls. Abhishek finished with a total of seven fours and an eye-watering 13 sixes. India finished on a score of 247/9. England had no choice but to go big right from the beginning and they perished. Mohammed Shami got the first wicket in the form of Ben Duckett in the third over and that was the pacer's first scalp since returning to international cricket after an injury layoff of nearly one and a half years.
